The War Upon Religion?
Atheists: There is no god and we are its prophets!

In religion, especially the Arabic religions, things are often the opposite from what they seem, and what gets claimed. Here is a chart of comparative statements that pits religion against reality:
Religionists: Atheists:
Atheists are a bunch of amoral evildoers set to do away with all religion. Atheists have no interest in religion but act in defense against aggressive and slanderous religious claims about us.
Atheists will lose their bet against God's existence. The only gamble made in this regard is the religious gamble that they must live as though Hell may be real, and lose out on the opportunities that life presents to all of us once in all eternity.
Without faith and belief, no one can live a moral life. Faith and belief are words used by those who, themselves, do not truly believe their god is real, have seen no signs to assure them, and so must rely on secondhand anecdotes and myths for assurance.
Secular atheists should not speak out against religion and say bad things about the religious. It is correct to identify secular and atheists as two different elements. It is incorrect to say that the religious are the only ones allowed to express themselves and the only ones with a right to slander others.
Atheists have no right to push their religion in public and try to push other religions out. Atheism is the absence of a religion and to say otherwise is a lie. The struggle in which atheists engage is to keep ALL religions from dominating public policies. That includes whatever quasi-religions atheists may support.
Atheism has killed more innocent people in the last century than has religion all through history. Most of what you attribute to 'atheism' is 'belief'. Atheists also have beliefs, they just are not the ones you share. Belief in communism, belief in totalitarian forms of government, faith in a political system, to idealize an untested philosophy, are all forms of belief. Atheism is, by itself, only an absence of belief and seldom is complete in that regard.
Atheists are scary people because they have nothing to impose controls over them. The same natural laws control atheists that control you, as weird religions have demonstrated all through history. Atheists' morality arrives with our understanding of those laws, which religions strive to violate. Immoral atheists share with immoral religionists a failure of natural understanding.
People need religion to help overcome their fear of death. People only need religion to help them overcome their fear of Hell, a nonexistent mythical place. We all will die, and the true future holds only that same oblivion we left for our brief experience of life.
Atheists have no right to publish literature against religion, nor to challenge religion's freedom of expression. Religions are the biggest source of literature against (other) religions. Religions that condemn other religions' beliefs only lend credence to atheism, and so we definitely support ALL freedom of expression. That is why we work against your efforts to impose your religion onto the rest of the world.
Atheism is obviously a religion and atheists are obviously its faithful members.

    Religion = Belief

    Atheism = No Belief.

    Calling atheism a religion works against your own interests and is, at best, ineffective. What you need to do is learn to understand the quasi-religions that atheists do believe in, and join forces with the atheists who oppose them.

    True atheistic belief is best described as 'tentative'. That means we subscribe to them only for so long as they seem like the best options we have found.

Hedonistic pleasure is just an excuse to romp in the sack with abandon and without commitment or responsibility.

There is way more to hedonism than mere sex. You have only stated why you would take up that philosophy. Keep that in mind during the next sermon you hear about it, and then open a philosophy book to see for yourself.

What your religion has kept you oblivious about is the immense array of pleasure awaiting your awareness, and that the best of that requires avoidance of wantonness in favor of greater pleasures found in personal achievement. To gain that pleasure requires commitment and responsibility the likes of which your religion prevents from you.

"To deny a right to the experience of pleasure is immoral unless that denial can be justified by a valid presentation of how pain will result from that experience in an amount that would render the expected pleasure regrettable; or, if it can be shown that pain will be induced in others innocent of any involvement. The role of science in moral issues should be to test that, predict that, and find harmless ways to demonstrate that."
