Welcome to Xian Cumbax
part two
Back to part one
On to part three
or, part four
BUY THE BOOK!
Here you will find a second section filled with
workable responses to common Xian dogmatic statements, in a growing list
you may feel welcome to apply in your own situation. The level and scope
of Xian attacks upon atheists, secularity, and our American secular form
of government have been on the rise for the past several decades, while we
watched and laughed at what we considered to be drivel, unaware of the
dangers it posed against humanity. Keep the dogma coming, it is time we
provide real, understandable and true answers to all of it. If you have
dogma but no response, send it anyways and we will go to work on it.
Complicated issues will be dealt with in the
debunking pages.
NOTEs: Due to the nature of xianity,
any of these cumbax may elicit violent reprisals from the "Luv People".
Xianity can be shown to be a dangerous
1mental condition, and so you must
expect that using these with any frequency will put you at risk, for which
you must bear your own onus. You can update this page from
http://www.lloydwhitling.com/debunking for so
long as it remains available.
Dated at the bottom so you can know if your
version is the latest. An excellent practice is to print these onto paper
for quicker reference, especially if your printer is capable to print on
both sides of the paper (duplex printing). Doing so will provide you with
a nicely formatted document upon which you can scribble your own notes. If
you find a claim for which a CumBak needs to be developed, send it in (eMail
link at bottom of page) and a group of atheists will go to work on it.
Don't be afraid to challenge us with the "unanswerable" or the
"ridiculous".
Original Christian claims along with your
CumBak each earn a bonus smiley
; two earn a
and the appreciation of untold thousands of thankful individuals.

67: Designed
universe: "If we are told a forest is uninhabited and come across a
garden in it, the plots of tomatoes, beans, corn and cabbage, tells us
someone lives here. A garden presupposes the existence of a gardener, for
it reflects intelligent design. So does Stonehenge, where gigantic stones
were stacked in a fashion we know is not accidental. We know an
intelligent being did it. Isn't it obvious, using the same kind of
reasoning, the universe was designed by an intelligence?"
|
1. "This CumBak lets the author of
this statement know that it only sounds reasonable because of what he
overlooked.
Read it in the book by looking for CumBax 67:1." 2. "If we
could somehow see a speeded up movie of the next 10,000 years of the
visible universe compressed down to an hour's time, I do believe a very
high lack of organization, and a lot of chaos and calamity, will be what
we would observe. We cannot see that movie, but today's scientists and
mathematicians can quite accurately make predictions (and have, and are
still involved with it). We are but a blink, even in that small amount of
time, we are learning, and that gives us a very limited view of reality.
In a lifetime, we may get to observe one calamity out of thousands yet to
occur. Be wary. Be very wary. Five pound rocks going 20,000 miles per hour
fall from the sky every day. If that were from an Intelligent Designer,
they would not miss so many of us sinners as they do.
Of course, He may just be too nerdy to be a good rock
slinger," |
|
68:
Gexists: "What would it take to convince
you that God exists?"
|
1.
"God supposedly knows everything, can do everything, and created
everything, according to you folks. You know I have to be convinced before
I can believe anything and not just be pretending only to appease you.
That would make me a hypocrite, which would not be what you want to
accomplish. Becoming convinced of anything as an adult is a sort of
automatic process, given irrefutable evidence. If your claims about God
are true, then God would know what it would take to convince me and make
that happen, and that makes you a meddler."
Thanks to Eric from
www.trustreason.com
2. "It appears that God
does not want me to know that He exists. You claim that I'm hard to
convince, and yet I am certain that you exist, and that you are not a god.
You have often claimed that God works in mysterious ways. If that is true,
and you are not a god, how dare you assume to know why God does not want
me to know that He exists?"
Thanks again to
Eric from
www.trustreason.com

3. "The trick is to get
the right question: Why would God give a shit if I believe in him or not?"
Thanx and a tip
of the Smiley to Charles Call from A-T

69:
Composers:
"…for example, the alternative
to believing in intelligent design is the plausibility of an explosion in
a printing press resulting in several miles of paper forming Webster's
Unabridged Dictionary. Or, that a Beethoven symphony could be composed by
monkeys pounding randomly on a piano.
"This seems
roughly equivalent to the agnostic-atheist idea that everything in the
universe all fell together by chance." |
1. "Misunderstanding nature in a way
that almost seems astute is the hallmark of Xian apologists. Understanding
nature sheds an entirely different light on how nature works, and how her
tools transformed an empty void into the bountiful beauty of reality.
Read it in the book by looking for CumBax 69:1." |
|
70: First Cause: "I believe in Intelligent Design
because evolutionists cannot name the first cause of evolution, and so it
had to have all been created." |
1. "Telling the truth to a Xian is like trying to revive a fish
with fresh air. The response saying 'that does not prove anything because
the creator also needed a first cause' has been told to you so many times
it has become a cliché. You should know better than that, unless you're
just testing my patience." 2: "What science has to say about
this, and what is NOT the answer to this plaint can be found in CumBax
70:2.
Read it in the book."
3. "Maybe scientists cannot speculate about a so-called First
Cause, but I can by relying on my understanding of String Theory to
interpret it into common language. You will find that in
EVOLUTION, The Mad Poet Does
Science" |
|
71: Theocracy: "Why do
you accuse Christians of trying to 'take over' the government, when you
know it is the secular and atheist liberals who are doing it. In spite of
what you already said, what is behind the bitterness atheists seem to feel
toward the Christians? What are atheists really after?" |
1. "I
often get exposed to the bitterness some atheistic people have for the
religious, and also to that of the religious folks toward us. My message
to other atheists, and to Xians, is that our views are true or else they
are not. If either side actually feels convinced they support the truth,
they do not need bitterness to do that.
"Atheists
need, instead, to be able to clearly express
why we uphold atheism in the face of a majority who condemn us for it.
We need to use our own science-based arguments to show why we are right,
and avoid using Christian arguments to show why they are wrong, because
most of them represent straw-men and bait. Except for temporary setbacks,
right will always be more powerful than wrong and correct will always be
more powerful than incorrect.
"We all know that from working on our own daily tasks.
To display bitterness against someone who insists on doing things wrong
will not teach them anything. If they won't listen to reason, Nature will
take care of demonstrating the facts. Our only job, at that point, is to
keep from laughing at their misery, and to defend ourselves from their
aggressions.
"The
important consideration is not about whether or not people believe in gods
and such, it is about whether people continue to hate each other over
their beliefs. I do believe evolution is correct science, and that for as
long as those who can hate each other are also the ones who are killing
each other off, evolution is working.
"Atheists' job is not to hate others, nor to convince everybody that
atheism is right (even though that would be nice), but to make sure
that those who are killing each other off don't go back to killing us off
again, and to do all in our power to keep the ones who want to gain
positions of power from reverting things back to where atheists are, once
again, the victims of hatred over whom theocrats regain the power of life
and death.
"When you see nasty stuff written about "atheists and agnostics",
"seculars or secular people", and "liberals and progressives" with nasty
adjectives attached, remember this so you'll continue to understand the
atheists' true mission: self-defense." |
|
72: Religion as Science: "Numerous
scientists have expressed their doubts about evolution as a force that
created the universe and earth, and support Intelligent design." |
1.
"Read
it in the book to see all the responses." |
|
73: Mysterious: "God's
ways are mysterious, and it's beyond the capabilities of mere human beings
to understand them." |
1. "If that is true, why are you so certain you have them right?
What gives you reason for the arrogance with which you speak for a God?
You refer to ancient texts written by desert savages, that are
acknowledged to have undergone many revisions and translations, that your
religion inherited from religions whose members yours proclaims to be
heretical, that still gets proclaimed to be immutable truth without
errors, and proclaim for yourself the right to speak for your God to me?
Your arrogance, and the arrogance of all those who spoke and rewrote for
God before you, are what I perceive to be the mysteries." |
|
74: Disbelief: "Atheists disbelieve in God. That
means their atheism is something done intentionally." |
1. "For a
concept as simple as nonbelief to be so confounded by attempts to
understand it amazes us. The urge to comprehend something nonexistent,
whether it is a god, or a belief, or subjects like time or space, boggles
our minds with a sense of mystery.
"Some
atheists may actively disbelieve for their own reasons. Some insist their
belief is absent, implying there is a possibility of it also returning to
be present. Some claim to be lacking belief, implying they feel something
to be missing that might return. A very few atheists have made their
atheism into a religion on the principle that religion can be given any
name a person or group might choose. Like religions built upon beliefs,
their atheism will hold different meanings and pursue different
philosophies for each of them. The only commonality among them, and the
only condition they share, is
nonbelief. |
|
75: Pascal's Wager: "How can anybody risk God's
wrath by daring to disbelieve?" |
1. "SEE THIS CUMBAK
in the book by looking for CumBax 75:1." |
|
76. Deep **it: "There is no pit so deep
that God's love is not deeper still." |
1. "Since most atheists consider god-talk equal to bullshit, you'll
get no argument from many of us about that one!" Thanks and
a smiley to Mike Quarker for pointing us toward this wonderful sentiment. |
|
77: Persecution: "Christians are the most
persecuted group in America as evidenced by cases in which public school
students were prohibited from having prayer groups, of starting classes
with prayers, or of bringing Bibles to school, etc." |
1. "Name one politician at the federal level who's an avowed
atheist." 2: "Assess the chance of a presidential candidate who's
an avowed atheist getting elected."
3: "Name one politician at the state level who's an avowed
atheist."
4: "Name a single church that's been shut down due to atheistic
pressure, or that's even targeted."
5: "Find one person who's pressing to have America declared an
'atheist nation'." Thanks to John C. Snider for these 5
answers to a common misrepresentation of facts.
http://www.scifidimensions.com/
6. "Have you not noticed that most of the people you are
accusing of persecuting you are also Xians?" |
|
78: Prepartum Prolife: "Life begins at
conception, so all abortions are murder." |
1. "When does life really begin for an individual.
Read it in the book by looking for CumBax 78:1.""
2. "Life begins at forty" and, thanks to
Skeeter from Atheist Talk, life can be fun
3. "The idea that life begins at conception is WAY understated.
Life started (on Earth, not speaking for anyone else here) about 3.5
billion years ago. Each conception is the descendant of 2 long, long, LONG
lines of prior life — a continuation, not a beginning."
This bit
of truth compliments of Richard Russell, champion contributor to
this file to date.

|
|
79: Commyanity "Communism goes against
everything Christianity stands for. Free enterprise and competition are
the Christian roots of Capitalist America."
|
1. "Acts 4:34
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were
possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the
things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet:
and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
"The Christian religion’s founding principle, as far as economic rules,
is pure socialism with the leaders having life and death control of their
members. Those who did not agree with socialism were executed.
Christianity is based in Communism, whereas the Jews were staunch free
enterprisers.
"The truth hurts." And, a smiley for Hank S. for this
contribution
 |
|
80: Vampirianity "Jesus was a Jew who was born
to die for our sins and set us free, and so we have Christianity so we can
praise the Son of God and be cleansed by His blood." |
1. "The Jesus story was inherited from several other Arabic
religions, including Judaism and Mithraism, mostly by word of mouth, and
compiled in the Christianity that eventually evolved into the sects of
today. Christianity is an Arabic cult with no more credibility than any of
the others." Thanks to Jennifer Richards for
pointing that interesting tidbit out for us, especially about Xianity's
disavowed heritage.
2. "No, Jesus didn't die to save us. He died because people he
pissed off killed him. He didn't have much choice in the matter."
Thanks and a grin of the Smiley to Eric for his
contributions.

|
81: Trial of Denial: "How can atheists deny the
existence of God when they have absolutely no proof?" |
1. "We do not DENY the
existence of any god. Denial makes it look like there is a god, but we
refuse to admit it. There are no gods to deny the existence of."
Thanks and a grin from the
Smiley Face to 'The 502' for setting the record so succinctly
straight.
2. Actually, atheists
follow the same
principles as science and law to arrive at a conclusion which requires
those who make a claim to provide supporting evidence. After so many
generations of waiting, would we not be acting against those principles to
never decide that you have no evidence to support any brand of theism? |
|
82: "Well, I think you atheists should be more
respectful of religion, and not be saying bad stuff about it and poking
fun." |
1. "Who most truly deserves our respect?
Read it in the book by looking for CumBax 82:1." 2. "What we
are not doing that Xians are, can be
read in the book by looking for CumBax 82:2."
3. "Are you nuts? That's like demanding that we be respectful of
organized lunacy."
4. "How Xians can earn atheists' respect is answered
in the book with CumBax 82:4."
5. "Hey, ain't that a whole lot like demanding respect for the
Mafia?" |
|
83: MythAmerica
"We Must Take America
Back.” |
1.
"But the book to read this CumBak" |
|
84: SuperGods: "God resides in the supernatural,
and so the Laws of God supersede the laws of man." |
1. "Buy
the book to learn how this hot CumBak has multiple responses." |
|
85: Freedom of Oppression: "The so-called 'wall
between church and state' is 'a wall of religious oppression' (Ashcroft)
and restricts freedom of religious speech." |
1. "This CumBack and many more can be found
in the book , a handy place of easy reference you can use to
defend your own freedoms against religious harassment with these multiple
responses." |
|
86: Hate Speech: "Well, it’s plain to me that
your CumBax are only meant to offend Christians and that they constitute
hate speech." |
1. "While the answer to
this seems obvious, you can find it and many others
in the book." |
|
87: AtheistRelativism: "Atheists insist it is
wrong to assert our moral beliefs onto other people. That is an atheistic
moral belief that does not live up to its own standards." |
1. "An answer to this quirky claim waits for you
inside the book . Buy the book, carry it with you, and use it
to practice defending yourself with the only weapons atheists need: true
words." |
|
88: Incestism: "Atheists insist everything is
relative, which implies nothing is absolute. That nothing is absolute is
an absolute statement, and so it is absurd." |
1.
"So, as a Christian, you need your own copy so you can upgrade your
war against sanity. Your money is as good as anybody's but be warned: The
more atheists who will catch you using this reference will be the more
Atheists who will demand to know where you bought it, and the fewer who
will be defenseless against you." |
|
89: First Cause: "The argument that for
everything to have a first cause, then God must have a first cause proves
nothing. It assumes not only that everything had a first cause, which is
unproven, but also assumes God had a first cause. You cannot use an
assumption from within an argument to prove the argument and be logically
correct." |
1.
"Is this claim correct. Is there more than one way to answer it?
The
book will allow you to hold the key to self-confidence in your
hand while you learn how to deal with this kind of ridiculous ridicule." |
|
90: Hedonianity:
"'Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die' is
wrong-minded hedonism.
All that gets you is
a heart attack and cirrhosis … then tomorrow we die of self-abuse and go
to Hell." |
1. "Cute, huh? Too obviously true to be answerable? Don't bet on it
without first looking
inside your very own copy of Xian CumBax." |
|
91: Faith: "All I need is faith to get me by,
and so I have no interest in your arguments against my beliefs." |
1. "Heard this one from any aggressive Xians lately? How to handle
it in one wise move hides
inside your copy of Xian CumBax that's waiting right
here for you to claim it." |
|
92: SuperSub: "You need to fear the power of God
and the supernatural, for they reign supreme to impose God's laws into our
lives." |
1. "Here's a challenging CumBax you will find rewarding to read
in the book . Support your author's hard work by rewarding him,
and reward your own self with his insights and those of many others with
whome he shares the spotlight
in the book ." |
|
93: Children, mean parents: "…atheistic writing
simply fails to consider the appeal of a religious view of life to people
today." |
1. "An interesting challenge with an
easy answer— Well, actually, two CumBax rejoined this, and you can
read them both
in the book ." |
|
94: Bad Births: "You were born a Christian. You
should have stayed a Christian." |
1. "We all know the response to this one by heart, right? You will
see additional information to make that into a better, more complete
response
in the book ." |
|
95: Supernatural Disaster:
"…the supernatural's existence or nonexistence cannot be supported by
evidence or proven by reason. Both are a matter of faith and therefore
belief. In the absence of verifiability, neither can claim to be absolute
truth." |
1. "Every atheist should have a copy of
the CumBax book in his/her possession at all times, just to
respond to the pressures and oppression. Get it to read both responses to
this astonishing claim." |
|
96: Fallacious Fallacy: "Atheists claim that
since the natural is all that we have or can scientifically observe and/or
measure, it is all that exists. I think that is a blatant logical fallacy
that is easy to refute: Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." |
1. "Critical thought does not mean criticizing how people think, it
does mean for us to realize that methodical, correct thinking is critical
to our health, wealth, happiness and freedom. Every Xian should have a
copy of the CumBax book in his or her possession at all times, and put it
to use for the benefit of their own health, wealth, happiness and freedoms
by learning to see there are two sides to every story, but only one of
them can be correct." |
|
97: Maybe, Maybe, Baby! "The supernatural's
existence cannot be refuted solely by our inability to observe it. Maybe a
supreme being's properties or our own are simply preventing direct
observation." |
1. "Hoo Hah! Maybe you should see this one
when you read the book, because you're almost certain to hear
it fresh from an aggressive proselytizer's mouth. Both CumBax are truthful
responses worth reading and learning by heart." |
|
98: Atheist Beliefs: "How can you claim atheism
is not a religion when atheists make it plain they have beliefs? I know
you have dealt with this, but I just plain don’t get it." |
1. "Get it when you get
the book !" |
|
99: The Wars of the World: "Atheism is an evil
system of belief that has set out to conquer mankind" |
1.
"That is actually true of Xianity, Islam and less true of Judaism, but the
nature of atheism prevents that from being true about it. Each of the
three Arabic religions presents that goal in their scriptures. Islam and
Xianity extract it from the Old Testament as well as their New Testament
or Quran, set forth as an instruction plan for spreading their variations
of that memeplex.
"It works. It
has been said, time and again by many people, that having a plan to go by
is far better than having none at all, even if it all is wrong. You can
always make adjustments as you go and get back on track to your goal.
These cults are long-term examples of the truth of that. Atheism is an
example of having no plan nor goal.
"That is the
main strength of religion, and the great weakness or failure of atheism,
wherein no aims have ever been stated in any way that would unite us as a
conquering force. We operate as individual entities, and are as liable to
succumb to the lure of secular religions (philosophies) as theists are to
fall into supernatural beliefs (theosophies). All we share in common is
the current stage science has achieved in our own time, and all that
unites us in any form is a dread that we are the sole guardians of factual
truth, which we will wholeheartedly defend. The most aggressive statement
most atheists will make is that truth will win in the end, and we aim to
protect it so it can survive religious pogroms for that long." |
|
100: How Can I Trust An Atheist? "If I were an
atheist, there'd be nothing to stop me from telling lies. How can I
believe anything you tell me, knowing that?" |
1. "Why religious people don't know about atheist morality, and how
we aim to deal with that will be found
in the book if you read CumBak 100:1: 2. "What is
true according to available statistics? Read that
in the book at CumBak 100:2."
3. "What does the Xian scripture have to say about it? Find it
in the book at CumBak 100:3."
4: CumBak 100:4 breaks the words down to their root meanings,
after which Xianity does not fare all that well." |
|
101. Tar and Feathers: "How can you justify
painting all Christians with the same brush? You must know we are not all
fanatics, and don’t all agree with the fringe elements of our faith!" |
1. "By the same token that you address all atheists with the stamp
of Madalyn O’Hare, atheists realize that any criticism leveled at the
fundies spatters onto the rest of you, the same way all of Islam wears the
bloody taint of terrorism, but we also accept that guilt by association is
a factor of labels we all don and paste upon each other. In any social
grouping, it is the driven folks who attract the attention, choose
directions, and steer the course their followers will walk whether
wholeheartedly or not." "So, what about labels? you can read the rest of
this retort
in the book." |
|
102. The Arrogance Fallacy: "How can atheists be so
arrogant as to proclaim that nothing greater than themselves can exist?" |
1. 110 CumBax claims and secular responses await you
in the book. You can purchase it by clicking on this link, or any of the
other links to go to the instruction page that tells you how to order it.
This is one compilation of information new and old that will make you a
better person. How? If you are, like myself, an atheist, you will
understand how to respond with answers rather than anger when aggressive
proselytizers accost you. If you are a religionist, your understanding of
secularity will increase. You will learn why we are statistically more
trustworthy and responsible than the religious (is that not what morality
is about?) and your increased tolerance will result from having gained a
better understanding of our reasoning derived from natural origins. |
|
103. Negatheism: "Atheism is a negative statement about
existence. Why not say something positive instead?" |
|
|
104. Mendacing Offenses: "I find the presence of atheist
materials, especially this piece of evil impure trash, to be very
offensive. They can't possible be true." |
|
|
105. Fishing for Meme Hosts: "I do wish you would take Jesus
Christ as your personal savior and find salvation in God's true word for
mankind." |
Numbers 103 - 110 may be the prizewinners of them all.
Buy
the book and keep that handy little reference by your side. |

Get it posted with your name here. Let spreaders of

because we think, we have discovered that thinking and

religion and honest questions are
