Welcome to Xian Cumbax
page four
Here is a brand-new page dealing with an erroneous
claim often heard from Xian apologists. This one, written by Bob Allen,
exposes an atheist's view of the claim that atheism is a communist
religion.
NOTEs and Disclaimers: Due to the
nature of Xianity, any of these cumbax may elicit violent reprisals from
the "Luv People". Xianity can be shown to be a dangerous mental
condition, and so you must expect that using these with any frequency will
put you at risk, for which you must bear your own onus. You can update
this page from
http://www.lloydwhitling.com/debunking for so
long as it remains available.
Dated at the bottom so you can know if your
version is the latest. An excellent practice is to print these onto paper
for quicker reference, especially if your printer is capable to print on
both sides of the paper (duplex printing). Doing so will provide you with
a nicely formatted document upon which you can scribble your own notes. If
you find a claim for which a CumBak needs to be developed, send it in (eMail
link at bottom of page) and a group of atheists will go to work on it.
Don't be afraid to challenge us with the "unanswerable" or the
"ridiculous".
Thanks, Bob, for this
insightful page. |

Atheism, the religion of death: Carol Smith, a secular humanist,
forwarded a letter to a discussion group which included this, in part:
Under Communism, the religion was atheism. There was no god.
Therefore, there was nothing but this life, then death. Consequently,
there was no messianic fanaticism driving the Communist leaders. They
simply killed to kill and conquer. [This viewpoint is inherent to the
dogma that insists atheism is a religion without moral constraints, and
that the murderous communistic and fascistic leaders of the past were
atheists].

was atheism, response by Bob Allen (Sat, 18 Mar 2006)

I know education in the U.S. leaves a lot to be desired as to history.
Atheism, Theism and messianic fanaticism can be found in many countries'
leaders whether Capitalist or Communist.
Often I've seen people refer to Stalin and Hitler saying that they were
Atheist, but that is an outright lie. I refer you to a history book called
Hitler and Stalin: Parallel Lives by Alan Bullock. Hitler was Roman
Catholic and Stalin was Russian Orthodox (both were Christian).
Stalin was kicked out of the Seminary school (attended in Tiflis from
1894 to 1899) in his fifth year for being too activist. The school
encouraged students to inform on each other and this led him to be very
distrustful (he also suffered an abusive drunken father which likely
contributed to his distrustful nature). That led him to purge many
military and church leaders once he came to power, but it didn't turn him
into an Atheist.
In fact, after the war he declared the Russian Orthodox Church to be
the state church. This was the result of his Christian upbringing, his
mother wanted him to become a priest and he nearly did. Far be it for many
people to pay attention to truth when slurring and dehumanizing people,
countries, and even philosophies they wish to hate. A lie not corrected,
told often enough, becomes generally accepted (as Hitler stated and
practiced).
Hitler, a True Christian, said:
"The national government will maintain and defend the foundations on
which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to
Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality. Today
Christians stand at the head of our country. We want to fill our culture
again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent
immoral developments in literature, in the theatre, and in the press — in
short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into
our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past
years." -- Adolf Hitler; from The Speeches of Adolph Hitler,
1922-1939, Vol. 1, Michael Hakeem, Ph.D. (London, Oxford University Press,
1942), pp. 871-872.

are incompatible, religion and honest
