A lot of junk
gets laid on young folks nowadays. Most of it seems unnecessary and to
serve only the interests of the older people. Some of it is good stuff,
but made so boring as to be unrecognizable after everybody has fallen
asleep or had their minds wander off to someplace else. It's hard to tell
the good stuff from the bad, and nobody wants to get trapped into a
lifetime of slavery to bad ideas when that could be avoided.
Here is a
section on my website that's
strictly
for the young folks whose entire lifetime still lays mostly ahead of them.
Young folks will be more interested in what other young folks write, and
so my hope is that you won't be afraid to contribute to a section of your
own. Other young folks will like to read what you have to say a lot more
than they will any words of mine. I remember from my own youth how it's
hard to trust an older generation that seems to put their own interests
first, and give yours no consideration at all.
With that in
mind, I have offered a couple of pages to get it started, show you what is
needed here, and set the trend. These are not Jesus pages, nor for any
mythical stories at all. This is for the plain, undoctored Naked Truth as
seen and understood by young people.

About
Submitting Your Own Work:
All artwork, stories and
essays will be fully accredited to their respective authors, who also
retain possession of copyrights, ownership, and all legal rights implied
therein. The copyright notice below appears on all pages of this site, but
does not supercede nor make any claims upon any work other than that
produced by Lloyd Harrison Whitling. Your own copyright notice will appear
on your page. There will be no pay nor charge for this service. I will
provide a place for exposure of good writing and artwork in exchange for
the materials to expose. Although art and writing presented on a web site
constitutes publishment, many hard copy publishers will not recognize that
as being of any value. Still, credits may add up over time to an amount
that may demand their recognition of you as someone whose work has already
had noteworthy exposure, especially if you get published on many sites.
Length should not exceed
1500 words, but does not need to be that long.
All contributions will be
assessed according to their merits, including grammar, punctuation, the
obvious intention behind the work, and its fit with the general nature of
this web site. I must, of course, reserve the right to do minor editing.
Good writing that fails to appeal to natural truths as presented in
science will be rejected; therefore, be aware that intellectual honesty is
of paramount importance. Documents in text format should be submitted as
an attachment to the email address at the bottom of any of this site's
pages.
If you are a writer with
constructive information that will appeal to young secular folks, here is
a chance for you to say it.
"You probably think you're the only atheist in town. Here's a little
secret for you. All the OTHER atheists in town probably think exactly the
same thing."
