Visit a World Where Naked is RIGHT and Dressed Up Is WRONG

Self-published author, Lloyd H. Whitling, now has a new book about a hot new subject, The Complete Universe of Memes, that tells how the universe began, why people act like they do, what makes them think they are right, and how it all might end.

Lloyd has his own slant on life, rooted in a half century of developing a wide-ranging interest in the relationships and disputes between science and religion, which resulted in his first stories about This World (ISBN 0-595-22385-0) and The Sand Wytch of Desert Low (ISBN 0-595-22391-5) (both about life on a desert planet  a meteor strike almost destroyed), Time Loop (ISBN 0-595-19946-1) about a man trapped in a loop of time that recycles back into itself, and three other books published through Writer’s Club Press.

Why Self Published? A number of us old timers have a book about what life has taught us, but don't feel capable to outlive a fruitless search for a publisher, and then wait for results to maybe appear on the market. We see few benefits to be had from the declining number of publishers who seem inclined to copy each other's offerings while avoiding new, possibly controversial ideas. Sure, there may be a small advance, but what else gets them to make us want to gamble that all the horror stories and rumors about them are untrue? Have you heard any new announcements, say in the last four or five decades, about books introducing readers to new advancements in religion and science?--or books not authored by (or ghost-written for) people already famous in some unrelated field? No one nowadays studies strictly for the purpose of writing a book and makes his or her name originally with a commercial publisher. Even Benjamin Franklin found it best to do it himself.

Quotes from the new book:Evolution deals with the development of plants and animals? Sorry!—Evolution deals with the development of the entire universe…and became the First Cause… Nothing about Evolution should require ‘proving’ to make us notice it.” “Science and technology, the chief perpetrators of change, get blamed for what should be a blessing…” “Do our memes compete with our genes for evolutionary dominance?—Yes!” “Fear, growing fat in your mind, evolves into a being of energy, which science says cannot be destroyed.

This book can lead to an understanding of how evolution actually supports the idea of God’s existence, why He seems invisible, why the idea so fully pervades human cultures, why the idea of God can be evil (remember 9/11/2001?) as well as good, and how to recognize the subtle difference.

The book has been published as ISBN 0-595-24429-7, titled The Complete Universe of Memes by Writer’s Club Press, author Lloyd Harrison Whitling.
